Cardiac Rehabilitation
Programs
The
Cardiac Rehabilitation & Intervention Track is a multidisciplinary program
designed to assist those suffering from a variety of types of chronic heart
disease or those recovering from surgery. It enables patients and their families
to improve their quality of life through a combined program of education,
diet, and exercise.
Participants are carefully monitored and their progress tracked by trained medical personnel to be sure they stay within safe limits of exercise. The program is both state- and nationally-certified, unlike many such programs offered in the area.
The cardiac element of the program targets those people who are recovering from heart attacks, heart surgery chronic cardiovascular disease.
Participation in cardiac rehab is usually reimbursable by Medicare or private insurers, based upon a physician's orders. Contact the program director to learn more about the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
