A former director
of radiation oncology at Emory University, Dr. Thomas is now president
of Regional Radiation Oncology PA, based in Asheville.
He
received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill and performed his internship and a subsequent residency
in diagnostic radiology at the Medical University of South Carolina
in Charleston, SC. He undertook a two-year fellowship in therapeutic
radiology at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC, where
he was chief resident and a teaching fellow.
He
is board certified in both diagnostic radiology and radiation oncology
and he has published numerous articles in his field. |
